How to convince private mobility operators to open their platforms for MaaS?
Business models and how to create a win/win for both city and stakeholders?
Issue considering the future inclusion of the clearing / billing in the MaaS (currently, “horizontal” MaaS developed in Bologna)
Routing logic used and nudging inside route planners (e.g. to nudge parking in P&R outside the city centre.) -

Key achievement:
• Further work on the preliminary urban planning, pending on some internal approvals to keep progressing.

Issues & Risks:
• Budget amendment needed for procurement.
• (Auditorio hub) Specific urban planning requirements. Currently, there is no estimated completion date for this study.

Key achievement:
• It will be conducted with the same tender of Multimodal hub Information Screens
Planned Goals &Actions:
• It will be conducted with the same Big Tender in Multimodal hub Information screens – so those screens will be interactive – it will be possible to book a vehicle through those screens.

- TLL_MS6: Citizen Mobility App
Planned Goals &Actions:
• It might be not possible to implement, as Tallinn MaaS tender didn’t go well and there is no MaaS app in Tallinn still – main obstacle is how to get mobility operators to start the collaboration.

- TLL_MS2: Smart City Platform & TLL_MS8: Environmental Sensors
Key achievements:
• Data sources defined; preparation is in final phase – in few weeks should be operational.
• CO2 sensors have been received – preparing the installation of those – will happen in March.
Planned Goals &Actions:
• Connecting the CO2 sensor to tram and to the pole in the main railway station
• Finalizing the platform

- TLL_MS4: Smart park and Ride management – new P&R facility & TLL_MS5: Smart park and Ride management – Screens
Key achievements:
• Park&Ride parking facility is defined – preparation of the parking lot itself has started. In March the tender for the equipment can start.
• The tender for the Smart P&R screens will be conducted with the same tender of Multimodal hub Information Screens

- TLL_MS3: Cargo-bikes renting service
Key achievement:
• Citybike and Tallinn are negotiating about locations of the cargo-bike stations – in overall there will be 10 cargo-bikes and 5 stations – service provision will start in April.

• Starting the service as soon snow is melting.

Key achievements:
• The small tender to find user interface design for information screens – results are ready in April. And then we can publish the tender for the screens, their instalment and the IT solution
• The City architects have found even better location for those information screens – in very centre of main railway station
• Preparing collaboration contracts with all the mobility operators in Tallinn – Bolt (car sharing, e-scooters, e-bikes, ride hailing), Tuul (e-scooters), Citybee (car sharing), Elmo(car sharing), Forus (ride hailing, car sharing)
